July 2 – 6, 2013 Ambler Kiwanis Carnival, Fireworks
The annual carnival will take place July 2 to 6 at Wissahickon High School, with the fireworks display — often touted as the “best fireworks display in the suburbs” — is scheduled for Friday, July 5. The carnival will be open from 6 to 10:30 p.m. weeknights and 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Fireworks will be Friday, July 5 at approximately 9:15 p.m. (rain date Saturday, July 6). Parking donation of $5 per vehicle on fireworks night only benefiting the Kiwanis Club of Ambler. For more information, click here. We’re headed to this one – can’t wait!
July 4, 2013 in Skippack PA
The fourth of July, 2013, is this upcoming Thursday. Fourth of July parade begins at 11:00 a.m. and travels down Skippack Pike (Route 73), thru the heart of Skippack Village. BBQ at Parc Bistro at 3 p.m., and fireworks sart at dusk in Palmer Park, near Skippack Elementary School, with parking areas off of Heckler Road and Creamery Road.
